Team Spotlight - Amy Taylor

Meet Amy, the latest addition to the Aspire Team!  She joins us an account executive and we’re excited to have her on board.  After graduating last summer and with some experience following an internship at a large FMCG PR agency, she brings a passion for PR, communication, the outdoors, and a positive, can-do attitude.

We caught up with Amy to learn more about what drew her to Aspire, what she’s excited to work on, and what she gets up to outside of work.

What drew you to Aspire?

When graduating, I had a keen interest in PR, being someone who finds it fascinating to keep up with the media, as well as enjoying writing and communication. This, coupled with my passion for exercise and the outdoors, meant that Aspire felt like the perfect fit for me.

What excited you most about joining the team?

I am extremely excited to get working on many various projects. I particularly love all things running, so campaigns surrounding this will be a real highlight for me. I am also really excited to work on some client events that we have coming up, as well as getting stuck in around London Marathon.

What are you most looking forward to working on?

Everything right now!  I’m lucky enough to have a diverse selection of clients to get my teeth into, each with very different plans, priorities and focuses, so I’m just really looking forward to being able to play a key role in many different things - from race place management to event logistics, press office work to creator identification.

A bit about you outside of work

I really enjoy running – it is something that I have done for as long as I can remember and has been a constant outlet in my life. I have also re-found swimming in the last couple of years and developed a real love for it. Outside of exercise, I enjoy going for coffee, dinner or drinks with my friends, or a long walk with a pub at the end. Additionally, I love travelling and will find any excuse to go on holiday!

Go-to run/workout:

I love a run along the river in my home town and this tends to be my go-to.

Coffee order:

Flat white

Weekend plans:

My dream weekends would involve a sunny Saturday morning run, followed by a coffee and a wander around town, dinner and drinks in the evening, a long walk on Sunday, a roast lunch and the afternoon on the sofa.

Dream brand to work with:

I would love to work with North Face – I think their campaigns are really interesting and stand out for their creativity and strong storytelling.

One thing people wouldn’t expect about you:

I was born in Cape Town, and so South Africa has a special place in my heart.

We’re delighted to have Amy onboard at such an exciting time for Aspire, and can’t wait to see her bring her energy to upcoming campaigns, events and everything in between!
