Sealskinz is a British sportswear brand that has been creating waterproof, windproof and breathable socks, gloves and hats for over 25 years. Designed to perform in all conditions, its products make the outdoors more accessible.

Our challenge was to raise awareness of Sealskinz by showing how the right gear enables runners, walkers and hikers to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of nature, whatever the conditions. To achieve this, we set out to engage media and influencers from diverse backgrounds, inspiring them to experience and share the brand first-hand.

our solution

We created and delivered ‘Connect with Nature’ in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, a gateway to the Peak District.

  • Immersive experience: Press and influencers joined a trail run or guided hike, testing Sealskinz waterproof hats, socks and gloves in real rainy conditions.
  • Credible ambassador: The Fell Foodie hosted an outdoor lunch and Q&A on nature, wellbeing and sustainability.
  • Local partnership: Worked with Peak Footwear as retail base and community touchpoint.
  • Content creation: Captured photography and video for ongoing brand and social use.

Alongside the activation, we ran an always-on press office securing year-round earned coverage — including lifestyle media for the first time.
